Good afternoon all

My tenant has notified me that the extractor above the electric hob isn't inhaling the smoke properly and as a result the smoke/odour stays inside instead of being sent outside. They also said now that autumn/winter is approaching, it will be not possible to cook with windows open to let the smoke/odour go outside and asked if this should be included on the inventory or if I could fix it.

I wondered where I can find information on kitchen extraction requirements.

I'm a new landlord so any advice is greatly appreciated!

Many thanks in advance.
