I need to install a new 'landlord's elec supply' into a building with 3 self contained flats (in Nottingham, if that is relevant). Western Power have now put in the main supply cable. This needs to be connected to a new electricity meter.

I have approached E.on to instal the meter but they are proving a pain to deal with (4 hour time slots 8-12, no choice of dates, with me having to arrange for a suitable fire-proof backing board to be installed before they visit etc).

Has anyone else had a new supply installed and would you recommend your electric supplier?

Thanks,

David
