I had in the past managed to have a number of new boilers fitted under the Affordable Warmth Obligation.

One of my tenants who is unemployed and claiming UC and gets Housing Benefit included within that.

Her utilities are with British Gas.

The boiler is a Valliant and is 20 years old, its working fine at the moment. Of course its no good waiting until it breaks down on Christmas Eve and as condemned as being beyond economic repair.

So is anyone aware that these schemes are still out there for old and energy inefficient boilers. A Which article indicates that they, but not sure how old that is. Getting to try and speak to someone at British Gas proved to be very difficult. The EPC is a a E currently which used to be one of the qualifying requirements.

Any up to date information as to if these are still available please?

Thanks

Clive
