I have a property that has been let through a letting agent. The tenancy, for various reasons was always managed for the tenants by a firm of solicitors. Now that the tenancy has ended I have asked our agent to get an agreement on the amount of the deposit we would like to retain to clean the property thoroughly, this they have done with the firm of solicitors, however the solicitors have not contacted the deposit holder to confirm the agreement. After several phone calls To my letting agent I am still left without the agreed Deposit. The amount was agreed almost 3 weeks ago. What are my options now to get things resolved.
