Good evening, i am in the process of setting up my first property to let. I will be moving out and have a tenant lined up to move in. i am wanting to cut costs down as much as possible as money is tight for new property at present. I am very organised and have done research and joined landlord groups but i would just like some clarity on what exactly i need to set up without a agent. is there a full check list somewhere? i have arranged the EPC, Gas safety and electrical. i am doing the inventory with the template on NRLA, and noticed there is other templates. If i was to not use the agent for initial set up as thats what i had planned to do and then self manage but the more i read i feel if NRLA can offer support if needed then i could possible set this up on my own. If i have any questions along the way am i able to ring for support and by using the templates provided by yourselves would these be a legit legal document for the purpose intended.
Many thanks
Louise
