End of Tenancy - Letting Agent: Trying to charge a family member for end of tenancy carpet cleaning, grease marks on wall. Property needed painting at start of AST, I believe this is clearly fair wear & tear.
Trying to pressurize any tenant into accepting Deposit deductions this is unacceptable.
We have photos of marks on carpet at start of AST 18 months earlier, carpet was cleaned but marks still present, hence I am puzzled why this outfit is trying it on !
Many issues with LAgent, poor communications, increase rent agreed £25 a month then asked for £50 a month, dishwasher faulty heater replaced then leaked over wooden floor.

Not a great advert for LAgents, taking advantage of a v.good tenant yet I am waiting to speak with them direct very soon, thanks.

PS _ IMO the property needed painting / decorating at start of AST , not bad but 18 months later it's even more tired looking and I feel the LA is trying their luck to see what extras they can gain by trying their luck.

The deposit I believe is held in their client account ( Insured TDS ) I am open to negotiating a little yet not being taken advantage of otherwise it's over to the TDS resolution service.

Any pointers, thanks and take care out there.
