Haven’t increased the rent for my three bedroom house with garden in Croydon for 4 years.have same tenants for that period and never had any problems,so feel bad about increasing rent but after 4 years my costs have increased and £1300 just about gets you a two bed flat around here.so any advice on how to do this without upsetting him,and how much should I increase it by.average round here is £1600 for my place but i would take £1450-£1500 maybe even £1400 because I like them.
