I can’t find any definitive guidance on this, and maybe it’s so glaringly obvious that none has been written!

We have 2 rooms coming available in our HMO and had booked viewings this weekend. Tonight, another of the tenants has advised us he has tested positive for COVID, caught at work in a care home. He is asymptomatic but is routinely tested at work. He is now confining himself to his room, and will only use the communal areas when no one else is there. We have already provided special anti viral wipes and sanitizer etc. for the household to use to maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout.

Can we still show the rooms and communal areas to prospective tenants, if we do not allow them to touch anything, ask them to wear masks, socially distance and open windows etc. Is this absolutely forbidden or a case of weighing up the risk, given that the positive person will be confined to his room on a different floor to the ones we would need to visit? Are we even allowed to enter the house? If it spreads amongst the tenants it could be weeks before we can re-let the rooms.
Any thoughts much appreciated as usual.
