How much can I put rent up?
There isn't any mention in the tenancy agreement about rent rises but I have a tenant on a periodic tenancy on a very low rent. I would estimate that the market rent is £500pcm but he is only paying £268. I would like to increase it to £300 which is still well below the market rent but much more than the 3% that I've always been guided by.
