I have a first floor flat with condensation problems. I have just had a survey done (Cost£50) and been quoted £608 inc VAT for two passive air vents to be fitted. (They cost between £21and £60 to buy and take an hour to fit) which is a ridiculous price. It seems all damp companies want the same sort of fee and I suspect has similar prices ... seems crazy to me! Not sure how to proceed?
