Hi,
We have a tenant that due to Covid lost her job, we agreed for a reduction in the rent to a more affordable level until she found a new job.
This tenant has now stopped paying any rent for the past 4 months and has informed the Council Tax that she is no longer living there as of the 4th of December 2020, we have also been trying to arrange a Gas Safety inspection which is long overdue.
We are being totally ignored despite numerous letters many hand delivered.

We managed to get to speak to her through the window of our house yesterday, she would not let us inside,
we were told she is living in another property and cannot afford to pay our rent as she has to pay the rent on her new home that she is getting universal credit towards some of the rent costs.
She says she cannot move her personal possessions out of our house as she doesn't know if things will work out in her new home.
She also is refusing to give us notice until she sees how it goes!

This leaves us in a very frustrating situation and next month it will be us that will have to pay the Council Tax
unless we can get the Council to agree she is still responsible as most of her personal possessions are still in the property.
