Fed up being bashed for all the world's problems?
Cheer yourself up by looking at the Institute of Economic Affairs report "Taxation without Justification" out today. The wonderful Prof Booth shows how this governments tax increases for landlords will feed into higher rents for tenants without really helping many first time buyers. Pure gold....

If you want to know why Professor Booth is so clever, you need to consider which nice member of this forum he had the good fortune to have a room next to at Durham University in 1980s...
