Hi there

I was wondering if there's any landlords operating in the Cheshire West and Chester area?

I have a 3 bed detached house that I'm considering renting out on an individual room basis. I therefore wanted to find out what the rules are depending on whether I let 2 or 3 individual rooms, what regulations I would be subject to and whether purchasing an HMO licence would be required from the local authority.

Having done a bit of research it looks like the rules change going from 2 to 3 tenants and then to 5 tenants with more than two storeys.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have emailed the council directly to inquire however I'm not expecting a quick response given the current Covid situation!
