I was informed my tenant died in January. He had a son who was 18 living with him, but not on the agreement. The son is still in the property and has not paid the rent. What is my position . He has just contacted us to state he has asked housing to pay the rent, but as a single person it is not likely that the they would pay anywhere near the full rent. He is also not named on the tenancy agreement.
