We have a tenant who is, to say the least, a hoarder. She moved in 2.5 years ago, intending to stay six months. Every room is stacked to the ceilings with boxes and furniture, still packed as she moved in. We had to get two chaps to move a fridge freezer and furniture so they could do the gas safety, but it is physically impossible to do the elec testing as things stand. She would need to move out every box and items of furniture from every room. She is ignoring our pleas requesting she move the stuff into formal storage, I think we need legal advice as to where we go with not being able to do the elec safety, but would appreciate any other comments. I have issued section 21 which takes us to August, again she is not accepting we want her OUT! The house is now coming up for 50 years old and I would imagine the electrics are generally shot -
