Interesting question I hope! Purchased a block of flats, all old tenancies but the previous landlord did not protect them. I am in the process of returning to tenants. However I cannot get in touch with one tenant yet.
My question is: Can the tenants still go back to the old landlord who did not initially protect the deposits looking for compensation?
