I had a lodger move in with me in 2012.I moved out in 2018, to live with my partner. As he has been with me a long time,I agreed that he can rent the place and Issued a AST . At the time I issued the tenancy I was'nt aware I would have to issue a EPC, or any "How to rent book", as he was already living in the flat for the last 6 years. I have always done a Gas cert. EPC , How to rent have now been sent retrospectively.
How would I stand if I wanted possession of the flat in future, when at the start of tenancy in 2018 NO epc, and NO how to rent was issued? Would a possession be possible?
