We have money in ban earning 0.4 so started looking for a buy to rent every house is gettin snapped up at asking price. We found a 5 year old semi in a different area that ticked a lot of boxes. Agent sad they had an offer and We put an offer in that we thought a little high just under asking price. The agent then said the other party had matched our offer. We panicked and offered extra 2000 which was accepted. On reflection we feel a bit duped and wonder whether to pull out or as the prices are rising so quickly we might miss out on something else. We think after initial costs and redecorating rental yield will be 4.3 - 4.6 %. I don’t want to cut off my nose to spite my face but feel annoyed I feel duped. Any advice?
