Hi,
I am attempting to get accelerated possession of a property in the Bexhill area, the tenant is more than 6 months in arrears, and has reneged on 2 attempts to set up a payment plan. there have also been numerous complaints from other tenants regarding their antisocial behaviour .
A section 8 notice has been served, but the tenant has not vacated the property.
The paperwork for repossesion was submitted by our managing agent in Bexhill, but was returned on spurious grounds, and we are now told managing agents cannot submit these, it has to be done by the claimant or a solicitor.
we have contacted three firms of solicitors local to the area and been told they are not dealing with these cases due to the complexity of the guidelines.
Is this a common problem? and does the NRLA have any details lists or advice as to how to find a solicitor who can deal with this for me? or very specific advice as to how to do this myself?
