A review hearing has lead to a possession hearing taking place 3rd week of April. What questions is a judge looking to have answered ? Our tenants have paid no rent in 15 consecutive months, are not citing COVID as having had an impact nor citing any loss in revenue through being made unemployed. They are indicating they were advised by legal sources they can stay at our property without paying any rent whatsoever !!? Any chance the judge will quickly rubbish such claims and award a quick possession date ?
What incidental facts from the landlord will a judge take into account ? Including taking the double hit of needing to rent a separate property as I cannot get access to my own house .......
