I have a prospective tenant interested in renting my one bed flat with his girlfriend. He has asked me if he can be the only one on the tenancy agreement as his girlfriend is currently on Furlough and is in Portugal so can not produce the necessary documents or sign the tenancy agreement. Financial checks indicate that he could probably cover the rent himself. I would like to know if it would be OK to only have him on the tenancy agreement when she will also be living in the flat.
