accidental leak from my flat to downstairs flat - am I liable for lower flat damage

My tenant has reported that the flat below has water pouring down wall when bath is used. The tenant has given my number to the people below too which I am not happy about so I have him ringing me too, he had also sent me images of the water damage. The damage to his flat, am I liable to pay for this too?
