I took over the management of a property that was tenanted. The tenant recently asked if she could have a new tenancy agreement, she proved a copy of her old tenancy agreement. On the old agreement, it states that a deposit of £550 had been paid and it had been deposited at the DPS. The Landlord and the tenant doesn't think there was a deposit paid. Will it be sufficient to protect me if I get them both to sign a disclaimer?
