My tenant wants to stay on beyond her 12 month assured shorthold tenancy, which I'm happy about. My understanding is that the tenancy will now just become a rolling arrangement with the same terms and conditions (eg. notice periods etc) but with no length specified. However, she's asked me what the new "contractual periodic tenancy will be, eg. 1/6/12 months". Do I need to draw up a new agreement, or was I right to believe I just need to let it roll on as is? Thank you!
