I've had an EICR signed off by an electrician with zero faults and I've immediately noticed some issues that would be classed as C2.
I've asked the Electrician to return immediately to fix them, but if everything is not resolved (and 28 days is too d*mn long where tenants are involved and its electrical) immediately, what does that mean for the EICR.
Its irrelevant, but I think he knew there was an issue and just hoped I wouldn't notice.
Given he's signed a legal document I'm expecting him to resolve the issues I've raised immediately, but what do I do if he doesnt? Trading standards? Get another electrician and pass the bill over to him?

If I can't trust the EICR, what should I do? I would like him to bear the cost of any work if it turns out to be extensive.

thanks as always!
