I have let the builder into one of my property for him to repair it and then continue staying in as tenant and pay rent once work is done. Unfortunately he did not start paying rent even after the work was done, now he is refusing to leave and also refusing to pay rent, infant he never paid rent. Please advice . I do not have a written contract other than a verbal agreement that once the work is done then he can start living as tenant and pay £600 pcm as rent.
