Section 8 or not?

Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

I am about to issue a sec 8 notice as my tenant has 2 complaints notices against him via the local authority and for not paying 2 x months rent. but now he has just pain in full the rent owed. Does him paying the rent ruin my chances of the sec 8 notice. can I still issue a sec 8 on the grounds of noise/nuisances notices against him? I have already issued a sec 21, have had a judges hearing and have a full court case in Nov 26th 2021. I need him out. he is playing games and wants to be evicted so as to be made homeless so the local authority have to help him? His words not mine.
