I have had quite a few Polish tenants over the years and as they are in the EU (for the time being it seems) there was no problem renting to them. I just took photographs of their passports for the purposes of the tenancy agreement. It would now seem that I cannot assume that I can rent to them as things have changed now we have left the EU. Trying to find info is time consuming and the government guide is 64 pages long and complex. Has anyone got recent experience of Polish tenants and what I now need to ask for from them in terms of their right to live and work in the UK. Thanks.
