Recovering rent from Joint Tenants

I want to recover rent from tenants through the online money claim service (what used to be called the Small Claims process. The tenants are joint tenants (i.e. all have signed one ASTA). As they are liable jointly and severally, as a practical matter do I proceed against all of them as one entity, or separately against each one in parallel (i.e so issuing multiple proceedings, presumably each for the full amount), or sequentially against each tenant one by one, picking the one I think most likely to pay first? There do not happen to be guarantors here, but I think the question would be the same even if there were.
