I bought a house in 2013 which had sitting tenants. The previous landlord supplied the furniture and white goods. When the washing machine broke I therefore repaired it. The machine again broke three years ago so I replaced it. They have contacted me again to say the machine has broken and they think its the pump. The insurance has just run out.
I have checked the tenancy agreement and it doesn't mention white goods. Am I responsible for keep replacing and repairing the washing machine. If so, how can I get out of this obligation?
