I've amended my rents (the first time for many years) for tenants on UC in light of the recently annouced 24/25 LHA rates. Contracts dated 1st April. For this month's payments, bearing in mind we're in May now, each of my tenants has been paid at the old rate and when they've queried it on their journal they've all been told "we can only pay the current rate" - which is now the old rate. Do we know when the new rates will apply, and why please?
