National Residential Landlords Association

Course of the month: Advanced HMO management

The introduction of civil penalties and Rent Repayment Orders has significantly increased financial penalties that local authorities can apply to landlords and HMO managers who do not meet their obligations.

This course goes beyond the basics and is designed to help landlords understand the complex regulations and requirements within the HMO market and assist with planning, researching and identifying potential HMO property. Learn how to avoid the pitfalls and gain practical guidance and tips for HMO landlords to avoid large penalties.

The course is suitable for new and existing HMO landlords who require advanced HMO management training, and agents considering taking on HMO properties on behalf of clients.

It will cover:

  • How to locate, source, fund and finance HMO
