Hi,

I have a tenant application on housing benefit that we expect will fail on affordability and subsequently require a Guarantor.

The tenant has suggested her grandmother who is apparently wealthy "has a few million in the bank" however she is 85 years old.

Obviously the estate is wealthy but would a guarantor assessment pass to a standard required for rent guarantee / legal cover insurance given her age ? (assuming everything else in in order).

Thanks,
Richard
