Can I claim for renovations before moving back into a property?

So I've managed to persuade my tenants to move out of the property I was renting out for a decade, and I'm planning to move back in. However, it will require replacement of furniture, carpets, painting etc.

Can I claim against these costs for tax purposes when it comes to next year's Self Assessment?
