Hi - Please could you advise regarding the following, I have a guarantor agreement with my AST - the tenant is having making payment due to being unemployed given the Covid19 situation and says he is in the process of claiming benefits. I now wish to approach the guarantor for payment once he defaults on one full months.

What does everyone recommend to be the best approach ?

Has anyone had success in this area?

Any example letter or templates would be extremely useful.
