Hello, I have always rented to students at my HMO, but I have been told by a prospective masters student tenant that I am liable to pay their council tax as they are not a full time student. I was not aware of this. Can anyone advise, is this true and is it a recent change in policy? As no one has ever raised this issue before. Thank you.
