My Teants wish to have an earely surrender of the Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement. They have informed the Managing Agents via a phone call only. There is a clause within the agreement relating to earely surrender. I would like to know if the Teants need to put their request in writting? The Agreement does states "Any notice to either party concerning this Agreement must be served in writing" Am I correct they need to do this?

Thank you
Regards
Andrew
