My letting agent let one of our houses to a Bulgarian couple and subsequently the council wrote to tell me that the couple now had as many as 12 people living there.

The Bulgarians left two weeks before the end of their month so I owe them two weeks rent, but their deposit will not cover the damages. Am I allowed to make deductions from the rent money that I hold or just the damage deposit?
