my tenant has had a chequered history over 15 years with rent arrears. Is 2 months in arrears again and has not kept house or garden tidy. Basically want possession back. Tenancy agreement due next month. She does not take arrears seriously even with constant reminders. Think she may longer be in a position to afford the good 3 bed roomed house. Am thinking of serving notice. Have read the FAQs page and government guidelines and want to check my options. Plan to give her 6 months tenancy agreement next month but warn her than eviction notice would be implemented 3 months before the end if arrears not paid. This would give her time to sort alternative accommodation before February 2021. is this the best way to proceed? Thanks Helen
