I have a tenant on universal credit. The amount of rent arrears comes to just over 9 weeks. I have contacted the housing benefit council and they have said we have to deal with the tenant.

Is the housing benefit changed its ways in dealing with the rent payments directly to landlords?

what can I do in this situation, where the tenant is receiving the housing benefit but is not passing on to the landlord? SO MUCH FOR THE DSS DISCRIMINATION AND NOW LANDLORDS HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS!
