Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Good morning

Please can you let me know the following:

If a section 8 notice has been served prior to Covid19, can we make an application for possession based on that notice, and do we have to send a reactivation notice and covid impact statement to the tenant and also with the court application?

The same question but with a Section 21 notice that was served prior to covid 19 (the 2 month notice period has now expired and we are still within the timeframes pre-covid)
