2 tenants, they want only one tenant 's name removed from tenancy agreement

A three bedroomed house, usual AST, family of four and after the second month, they want the agreement changed from both to just in one tenant's name. Reason? The lady is the one payingthe rent. I would prefer both adults to be named as is now. What please are there any pros and cons. Your advice appreciated.
