Getting sitting tenants evicted before purchasing a BTL property?

I am buying another portion of rental flat portfolio and come across something I've not seen before. One of the flats has a bad tenant (stoned all day, big loud dog that is not on TA, threatening others next door) so I dont want to 'inherit' her. Am I able to legally hold up the purchase until I see her evicted by the previous landlord/owner? She just moved in a few weeks ago and has a 1 year initial TA.
