My property has been empty for 6 months as I am unsure to rent it out during the current pandemic , my only concern is that if i rent it out i have no guarantees the tenants will continue to pay given the extension to taking property back. I have asked the council if they are able to provide an extension to the 6 months empty property exemption and they have said they have not been given anything from central government and their policy is for people to pay - any advice would be appreciated
