I am looking to diversify into a holiday let as the BTL market is becoming so awkward.

Has anyone any experience of holiday letting wooden lodges? I've seen a new development in a place I know to be viable, which has a few units complete and let via Hoseasons- so I can estimate income. Net return appears to be appx. 11% (bought outright), which means I need 15 years out of the thing to be worth tying the money up rather than banking it...Is that optimistic for a glorified shed?

My worry is the lifetime in constant use of the F&F, and the likely (lack of) resale value if I change my mind

Thoughts? (Horror stories welcome)
