Rent arrears UC direct payments

Does anyone have any success in getting rent arrears or rent payments directly from UC? I tried getting rent paid directly by filling in the correct UC47 form from DWP after more than two months arrears. Despite follow up calls and emails I've had no joy. DWP were aware of my attempt as they contacted the tenant to tell them I was requesting these direct payments two weeks after the forms was submitted, yet I received no monies for a further two months. The tenant has since been evicted.

How long does the DWP take to process these UC47 payments? I've another tenant in the same boat now.
