I received this email form a parent of a student. It is a 7 bed house. I use your guarantor form and Contract. Please advise-
"I will be happy to except for clause 2 regarding covering other tenants liability.
This clause rather defeats the point of each tenant having a guarantor if we have to cover the liability of other tenants since surely their guarantor will be responsible for all liabilities including losses incurred?
I am not happy to sign with this clause as it is so can you see if this can be amended accordingly. It is your responsibility as the landlord to ensure that all parties in this agreement have validated guarantors so this situation will not arise."
