How do I change the rent on the current AST?

As a landlord, I have agreed a request to reduce the rent for my flat by 5%. This would take the rent from £2200 to £2090 pcm. The deposit for the flat is currently £2500. The 5-week maximum with the reduced rent would be £2411 so less than the current deposit.
How do I formalise the rent change?
How does that impact the Deposit which would then be greater than 5 weeks' rent?

I see advice for rent increases and the Form 4 available on Gov.UK is littered with references to "increase" not "change" and I am concerned over its use for a rental decrease.

The rental change would occur after the fixed period of the AST.
Thanks for your help.
