Hello All,

I have a property that I rent to students and I have historically always had British based students with British based guarantors ....usually parents.
This year I have a number of enquiries with students who are from abroad ...both European and further afield. I am not concerned about the right to rent applications but do landlords take guarantors for foreign students? If not, what happens if rent becomes late etc. I have never had to seek any assistance from any guarantor in the past (touch wood), but it has always been a peace of mind.
Any advice would be very greatly received.
