Dear NARL Staff

I am contacting you with a quick enquiry.

I have a flat in Bow, East London which has a grill gate on the outside of the door to the flat. I have been asked by the Management Company to remove this for Health and Safety fire risk purposes. However, I think that the grill is a good idea for security reasons in that part of London, and was put in at quite some expense to prevent burglary.

Can you please tell me if I am legally obliged to remove it?

Thanking you in advance for your help.

Best wishes
Gareth
